Russian Romances

Take shelter from a cold, winter night and cozy up with an evening at 91��ɫ for the love affair that is Russian Romances, held at 91��ɫ’s Helen Corning Warden Theater. 91��ɫ Russian repertoire vocal coach Ghenady Meirson is the music director and pianist. Russian Romances will also feature cellist��Vivian Barton Dozor, who has played with Opera Philadelphia, the Pennsylvania Ballet, the 91��ɫ Opera Orchestra, and much more.

This year’s program will include songs and ensembles by Glinka, Borodin, Arensky, Taneyev, Glière, Medtner, Gretchaninoff, Cui, Prokofieff, Shostakovich and Sviridov.��See photos from last year’s program .

Join 91��ɫ for a Young Professionals (anyone ages 21-45) pre-Russian Romances happy hour on December 18 at ! First drink is on us, and light bites will be served.
